Car Hood Presentation:Matted With some wildfires just southwest

With some wildfires just southwest of Denver I headed out to City Park in early October to photograph the skyline at sunset

Not too far from sea level we came across this area and positioned myself on the rocks next to it in order to capture the lines and textures of the scene

In just a few minutes the tramway takes you 1

This year I found a field of sunflowers south of the airport near their peak

This image was taken around 8pm with a couple of hours of sunlight still remaining on this day

Car Hood Presentation:Matted With some wildfires just southwestThis is an old car hood. The flaking of the paint and the various colors is what grabbed my attention to this specific hood. Lining up the various lines in the same direction also brings you through the image and allows your eye to capture the various elements at each glance of the image.
