This listing is for an antique Tenpo 5 (1834) carry box. The front is hand painted and decorated with what appears to be plovers and crashing waves. Two strips of wood on the lid are made of persimmon wood, and the handle is also decorated with a pattern of thin lines. There is writing on the lid interior, however its very
