This base has 85% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool and 15% Nylon, but is a 2 ply with a very high twist, making it extra durable but very soft. It is great for socks and shawls and sweaters! It has 400 m per 100g skein. Handwash only and lay flat to dry; although it is superwash merino we really wouldnt recommend machine washing it. We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark
